Desalination device [Super Saltless]
The concentration of chloride ions in the treated water will be kept below 500 ppm before discharge.
Conventional leachate treatment facilities cannot remove salinity. Currently, the concentration of chloride ions in the treated water is being discharged at around 10,000 ppm. While salt is essential for our bodies, excessive amounts can cause significant harm. The same is true in nature, especially for rice, which is sensitive to salinity, raising concerns about its impact. At Kyowa Chemical, we use a desalination device called "Super Saltless" to reduce the concentration of chloride ions in the treated water to below 500 ppm before discharge.
